Does it cost anything to join?
No. There’s no joining fee, no subscription and nothing to buy. When we introduce a client and you see them, we take a commission on that session. Those who join early keep a lower one.
How many clients will I get?
We’d rather be straight with you: we haven’t opened yet, so we can’t promise a number and we won’t pretend to. What we can promise is that every introduction is made by a person who has read what the client wrote, and that we’ll only introduce someone we think suits the way you work.
Is this a job? Would I be working for Cashew?
No. You stay independent. Cashew works alongside your practice; it doesn’t employ you or ask for your time beyond the sessions you choose to offer.
I’m a counsellor, not a clinical psychologist. Is this for me?
Yes. We work with both, and we keep the two distinct. Your profile says exactly what you are and what you trained in, and people are introduced to the kind of practitioner their needs call for.
Do you need my RCI registration?
If you’re a clinical psychologist, yes, and we check every number by hand before anyone sees your profile. You don’t need it to say hello, though. If you’re a counsellor, we’ll talk about your training instead.
I’m not much of a technology person. Will that be a problem?
Not at all. Most of what we do for you happens without you lifting a finger, and we set the rest up with you over a call. If something feels awkward, tell us. Fixing it is our job, not learning it yours.
Can I keep my clinic and my other work?
Yes. Cashew sits alongside whatever you already do. There’s no exclusivity, and nobody will ask you to move your existing clients anywhere.
Where do sessions happen?
Online, by video, through Cashew. You and your client each join from a link at the time of the session; there’s nothing for either of you to install.
What happens after I say hello?
One of us calls or WhatsApps you within a few days. If it turns out not to be the right time, that’s completely fine. Tell us, and we won’t chase you.
